Basic Infection Control for Healthcare Professionals

This six(6) week, 40 clock hour online course focuses on the history, causes, and control of infectious diseases; the agencies associated with disease control; the structure of the immune system; the legal issues associated with infection control; and the difference between infectious diseases and communicable diseases.

To successfully complete this training, the student must complete the course with GPA of 2.0 and complete the forty (40) clock hours in satisfactory progress.  Upon successful completion of this program, the graduate is awarded a certificate of completion of the online course and is responsible for scheduling and purchasing any certification testing to be recognized as a Certified in the subject matter.
